Ansco pix panorama camera

One thing that made the Ansco Pix Panorama an easy camera to shoot with is its all-out fixed features. Focus, aperture, shutter speed, focal length – almost everything on the camera is fixed except the lens cover. This didn’t hinder the Pix Panorama from taking lo-fi images with signature analogue effects like soft-focusing and vignettes.

The 28mm lens is ideal for panoramic shots. Simplicity is the name of the game with the Ansco Pix Panorama. The easy to disassemble body also gives room for modifications like lens flipping and removal of the panorama and viewfinder mask.

Usual 24×36 mm shots are reduced to 13×36 mm images with the panorama mask. This, in turn, leads to film labs to enlarge the images, thus resulting in grainier images.
